Following our recent convening, the JUGAAD Foundation for Peace and Nation Building reaffirms its unwavering commitment to championing African-led pathways to peace, recovery, and renewal.
Our forum brought together a powerful mosaic of voices — peacebuilders, policymakers, youth leaders, women’s groups, and grassroots advocates — united by a shared vision: to confront the drivers of conflict and co-create solutions grounded in local wisdom, lived experience, and collective resilience.
We explored practical, people-centered strategies that address trauma, rebuild institutions, and empower communities to shape their own futures. These conversations were not only reflective but action-oriented, laying the groundwork for long-term partnerships and tangible initiatives across the continent.
Looking ahead, we will continue to prioritize inclusive dialogue, cross-sector collaboration, and bold innovation to help African nations heal, grow, and thrive beyond the legacies of war.
This is more than peacebuilding — it is nation building, rooted in dignity, unity, and hope.
Together, we rise. Together, we rebuild.
